PHD STUDENT INFORMATION

The History Program has a reputation of being a great place to conduct research with an enthusiastic team of academics and students to welcome all students to the program.

History postgraduate students are an important part of our Program and we have a high degree of staff and student interaction covering a wide range of interests and innovative research projects. Supervisors and advisers encourage regular access to provide a productive and highly individualised learning environment.

History can offer students a stimulating and accessible academic environment, regular seminars and workshops, a small library of relevant journals, as well as access to a shared room with phone and a computer with internet access, access to libraries on campus, access to a photocopier and fax machine and access to the academic community of the ANU. We also have some funding available to cover fieldwork costs during your candidature.

For further information on how to become a PhD student please contact Professor Tom Griffiths, History Graduate Coordinator, or send an email to Tom.Griffiths@anu.edu.au.
